Nordic’s polymer-modified coating acts as a shock absorber, and based on its performance qualifies Nordic shingles as a Class 4 impact-resistant shingle.
IKO’s Dynasty shingle is designed specifically for high-wind applications. It’s made with a durable fibreglass mat and a thick asphalt coating, making it one of the heaviest shingles in its class. Dynasty's weight helps the shingles lie flat and stay put on a roof, thwarting the wind from prying them up. These premium-quality laminated shingles also have a Class 3 impact-resistance rating.
Both Nordic and Dynasty performance shingles feature Armour Zone® – a reinforced woven band that fortifies the nail zone to help resist tears and blow-offs even in high-wind conditions.
