Co-op brings the colour back

In June 2016, Co-op proudly launched Communities in Full Colour. This program was developed as a way to give back to the places Co-op calls home. In an effort to brighten up the communities where we live, work and play, Co-op is donating CO-OP® IMAGINE paint to charities and non-profit organizations that play a meaningful role in their local community.

Since its launch, the Communities in Full Colour Program has donated over $600,000 in paint to more than 1,000 projects in over 450 Western Canadian communities. Projects include the rejuvenation of spaces that are integral to many local communities, such as hockey arenas, community centres, vulnerable peoples shelters and heritage sites. Notable projects include the repainting of Vancouver Island’s famous Amphitrite Lighthouse, Pincher Creek’s Heritage Acres Farm Museum, and Drumheller’s iconic street side dinosaurs.

As a contractor, you’re well integrated into your community, not only as a business owner but also as a driving force behind its growth and development. As a true champion of renewal, you know better than most the positive impact a fresh coat of paint can have on a project. Whether you are part of a charitable organization or know a deserving cause in need of a fresh coat of paint, Communities in Full Colour is a great way to assist with the causes that are important to your community.

Visit our Communities in Full Colour for more information or to apply online, or have your charitable organization visit its local Co-op Home Centre for an application form.
